"When God Prophesies the Impossible"
Reading: Genesis 18:1-15 (Abraham and Sarah's promise)
Devotional: God specializes in the impossible. When He promised Abraham and Sarah a child in their old age, it seemed laughable—literally, Sarah laughed. Yet God's promises don't depend on human capability but on divine faithfulness. Like Nahum's prophecy against invincible Nineveh, God's word to Abraham appeared absurd by earthly standards. What impossible situation are you facing today? The same God who brought Isaac into the world and toppled Nineveh's walls is speaking over your circumstances. His track record proves that what He promises, He accomplishes. Your impossibility is simply His opportunity to demonstrate His faithfulness. Trust not in what seems reasonable, but in the God who makes the impossible inevitable.
