"God Moves First"

Reading:  Acts 15:1-11

Before you woke this morning, God was already at work in your life. Before you prayed your first prayer, He had already extended His hand toward you. Acts 15 reveals a profound truth: God doesn't wait for our performance to initiate His grace. Peter reminds the early church that God gave the Holy Spirit to the Gentiles before they followed any religious rituals. He cleansed their hearts by faith alone. This reverses our natural thinking. We assume we must do something to earn God's attention, but the gospel declares God acted first. Today, rest in this truth: you don't have to qualify for what God has already freely given. His love preceded your effort, and His acceptance doesn't depend on your performance.
