"Living in Freedom"
Reading: Galatians 5:1-6; Colossians 2:13-15
Christ has set you free—not so you can return to slavery, but so you can walk in the freedom He purchased. Acts 15 settled the question once and for all: salvation is by grace through faith, with no strings attached. But freedom isn't license to live carelessly; it's the power to live gratefully. When you know you're fully accepted, you stop performing for approval and start responding in love. You pray not to earn God's favor but because you already have it. You serve not to secure your salvation but because it's already secure. You obey not out of fear but out of joy. Today, take inventory. Are you carrying burdens Jesus never gave you? Lay them down. Are you trying to add to what Christ completed? Stop. Rest in His finished work, and let your life overflow with the freedom only grace can bring.
Closing Reflection: This week, you've been reminded that salvation moves us away from what we do and back to what God has done in Jesus. God acted first. Faith is received, not earned. The Holy Spirit confirms your belonging. The church lifts burdens. And you are called to live in freedom. May you walk confidently in the grace that has no strings attached, knowing you are fully loved, completely accepted, and eternally secure in Christ alone.
